Tips and Tools
1. Hydration - Our bodies depend greatly on water. Without pure water the body's electrical system can be impaired and it can slow down our lymphatic system.
2. ESR (Emotional Stress Release) - this can be done anywhere. It helps you cope with stress, trauma, overload. A light touch on the frontal eminences (bumps on the forehead between hairline and eyebrows above the eyes). This can be done with assistance from someone or using your hand to cover your forehead.
3. Cross Crawl Movement - opposite arm and leg move together e.g. walking. This will integrate the left and right hemispheres, improve concentration, enhance learning, move lymphatic sytem, reduce stress and give you focus and energy.
4. Breathing techniques - 4,7,8 - Exhale completely through your mouth, close your mouth and inhale for a count of 4, hold your breathe for a count of 7, exhale completely through your mouth for a count of 8. This can help stress and possible help sleep.
